The Last Remnant Remastered, the HD update of a classic JRPG, just arrived on mobiles and nobody was expecting it at all.
Available right now on iOS and Android app stores, The Last Remnant Remastered is the recent update to a phenomenal JRPG that originally hit shelves back when there was still shelf space for this type of game. Just over a decade ago, Square Enix unleashed this tale on Xbox 360 and PC that drags players into a fictional world inhabited by four unique races, the Mitra, Yama, Qsiti, and Sovani. Split over a range of city-states, players follow the path of protagonist Rush Sykes as he searches for his lost sister. All around, conflict reigns supreme as various factions fight for power over Remnants. These mystical artifacts take several forms and hold immense influence in this world. As Rush searches for his sister, it is safe to say that the game delves into an epic tale involving the fate of these cities and the power of the remnants.
On The Move Remastered
Now gamers on the go can take the 2018 remastered version of this game to mobiles. It is available right now and will set you back a hefty $20 or local equivalent. The game will also take up a whopping 8-9 GB of space on an iPhone and just over 6GB of storage on an Android device. We would fully expect that this is going to be kind to mid-range devices either. The Last Remnant Remastered first hit PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch devices last year and was originally developed using the Unreal engine. Suffice to say I wouldn’t recommend trying to drop this onto low-speed SD storage either.
However, if you invested in a top-end gaming phone of late and are looking for something to really shine on your device then this could be worth a look. The game might have mixed reviews as yet, but anybody waiting for the Final Fantasy 7 remake could do worse than grabbing this fully-fledged JRPG. You can check out The Last remnant Remastered over on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store now.
