The Quiet Man was initially shown during the Square Enix E3 showcase. You play as a deaf character, Dane, and experience the world as the character does – with very little distinct audio and no subtitles: it’s up to you to make up your own interpretation of the story as your search unfolds.
The game’s story unfolds over a single night and players will need to fight their way to discover the motives behind the kidnapping of songstress Lala by a mysterious masked man.
The Quiet Man is now available on PC via Steam and PlayStation 4.
A free patch will also be available approximately one week after release, titled THE QUIET MAN – ANSWERED –, which will offer answers to the unique mysteries of THE QUIET MAN by providing another play through with sound and voices.
Those who purchase the game from PlayStation Store through November 15 will receive the base game, PS4 dynamic theme and a set of eight PS Network avatars. During the same period, those who purchase from STEAM will receive the base game, as well as a set of seven desktop and mobile wallpapers. Further, those who purchase within this period on either platform will receive a 10% discount.
