The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross Comes To Mobile 3 March

Netmarble’s new mobile game, The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross is set to bring the hit anime heroes to the small screen and it arrives on 3 March.

We’ve just received the release date for the next big anime adaptation for mobile screen and once the Crunchyroll awards are done and dusted, these ex knights will be ready to continue their quest on your Android and iOS phone. The on the go game has already done some seriously good number in Japan and has already racked up more than 1 million pre-registrations in the west since pre-registration opened in January.

Animated Success

Already a successful manga and anime, Nakaba Suzuki’s story of a band of disgraced knights hit Japan’s Shōnen Jump back in 2012 where it found some significant success. The subsequent anime has some serious recognition and follows the quest of these Knights to protect a princess and liberate the land of Britannia from some traitorous knights of the realm spawned three seasons of animated adventure.

The mobile adaptation fo this series follows the adventures of the unusual adventurers, lead by Meliodas. Whether it’s Dianne, Captain Meliodas, or the carefree Ban, the knights are all rendered in high-resolution 3D graphics and accompanied by over 100 dramatic cutscenes. The cast of original Japanese voice actors are included, bringing the characters to life while players focus on building a team of heroes to battle anything that stands in their way. The twist in The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross focuses on combining cards and characters for special moves, similar tot he systems we found in Food Fantasy.

If you are a fan of the Seven Deadly sins then this is worth checking out. Pre-registration is ongoing for the mobile game and will reward early adopters with in-game currency, exclusive boxes, in-game items, a Meliodas character, and his costume. The game looks like it’s going to be a standard free to play with item shop economy so grabbing a bit of extra virtual shiny can’t hurt.
