The Unliving is Now…er….Live in Early Access

The Unliving

RocketBrush Studio and Team17 Digital have announced that The Unliving is now available for PC players via Steam early access. Players can purchase a copy of the game for $15.29 for the first week of early access before the price of the game goes back to its normal $16.99 price. Purchasing the game grants players the ability to play in early access and to assist the dev team with suggestions and criticisms of the game.

The game offers players a chance to experience the “life” of a necromancer who is disgusted at the corruption of the living world. He bludgeons his way through the game world, seeking out clerics and lords, hoping to hide behind their walls. It’s up to him to “smite hundreds of those standing in your way.”

The game is a dynamic rogue-lite action RPG with some strategic elements. Players will raise the undead, use numerous spells, and explore a game world rich in mysticism.

Features include

  • Turning enemies into an undead army by resurrecting them and adding them to undead legions. Each creature has its own unique abilities. For instance, an undead Priest will curse enemies.
  • Unlocking the secrets of necromancy by meeting friend and foe alike. Regain memories through talking to enemies and a necromantic cult.
  • Crushing everyone in the way, including the few who are helpless victims.
  • Conquering uncharted lands in a randomly generated game world with a variety of enemies, artifacts, secret rooms, traps, and more.
  • Battling epic bosses, each with its own unique fighting style and abilities.
  • Dying and rising again
