MMORPG The Wagadu Chronicles successfully finished its Kickstarter campaign, getting enough funds to support a variety of stretch goals, and finished going through its first closed alpha test. The developers describe the game as a sandbox MMORPG focused on role-play. You’ll get to farm, fight, trade and build with other players while shaping this wonderful African inspired world.

During the Kickstarter campaign, the team promised that The Wagadu Chronicles is built 100% tailored to role-players, from lore to mechanics.
“Imagine a videogame where everyone around you is role-playing. The noble Emere with whom you are travelling does not want to desecrate any tombs and ignores the loot; the Swala hunter you just met chants a ritual prayer before every hunt and the Asiman merchant never attacks or kills anyone because she believes her goddess wants peace to rule in Wagadu.”
