Cuyler “Huke” Garland

It’s really not often that you see a 17-year-old who is experienced like this guy. He’s a professional Halo player and he isn’t old enough to go to college yet. That being said, he’s managed to earn over $200,000 from gaming alone. His career started out in 2014 and so far he has been able to compete in over 48 tournaments. His biggest win was in 2016 when he came out with the $62,000 prize pot from the Halo World Championship. Garland has been known for participating in Call of Duty tournaments too and this just goes to show what an incredible gamer he really is. He has stated that he is frustrated because he has not been able to compete in some tournaments because of his age, but at least he is being given way more time to practice and this will certainly work in his favor.

Leonardo “MKLeo” Perez

This kid is only 16 years old but he has already come out with over £47,000. He’s had a stunning career already and his biggest win is $20,000. Winning has become a habit for him and he is really on the track to come away with more.

David “Deevo” Morrow

Rocket League is far from the biggest game in the eSports industry but that being said, Morrow has easily been able to make quite a career from it. He has earnt $37,000+ so far and he is a veteran, to say the least. His single biggest prize actually came at the RLCS season final in the year 2017. Sure, in the UK he is only just old enough to drive, but that being said, he is ranked as being 50th in the highest sports players of all time. Sure, there are other players who are above him, but the point is that he has been able to come away with a huge pot of money and that he has done it by playing Rocket League. A lot of big-money players choose to focus on games that include Dota 2 or even League of Legends. He has stated that he started playing the game in the year 2015 and that he has been building on his skills ever since.

Of course, all of these young players have certainly made an impact on the gaming industry and they have also contributed hours of practice time too. The main thing that you have to remember is that although these are kids, they certainly know what they are doing when it comes to gaming. They are able to use their lightning-quick reflexes to come out on top nearly every single time and this helps to make them the incredible gamers that they are. A lot of adults struggle to compete with kids like this and it’s a real talent. Of course, a lot of parents try and stop their kids from playing games because they feel as though it is bad for them but when kids like the above start to show a real talent it’s hard to stop them from achieving their full potential. The kids listed in this article clearly have a lot further to go as well, and it will be interesting to see how far they are able to go.
