HoYoverse just announced that the Zenless Zone Zero Global launch date is set for 4 July 2024.
The latest title from gacha gaming giant HoYoverse is set to go live across PC, PlayStation 5, Android, and iOS on 4 July. The climatic date will usher in an action RPG that was initially announced back in 2022. Now, players looking to hang out on Sixth Street can set an alarm for 10 AM (UTC+8) / 2 AM UTC / 12 PM CEST / 7 PM PST (3 July).
If you didn’t catch our early coverage, or feverish hands-on impression from Gamescom, you’ll be glad to hear that this isn’t just another Genshin Impact, or a Honkai Star Rail spin off. ZZZ, as it is also known, blends a fantastical urban landscape with some familiar anime tropes, and a combat system that sets the new game apart. Pressing play drops potential Proxies into a reality where a future civilization is ravaged by catastrophe. Only one bastion of civilization stands as a safe haven, and this sprawling metropolis is prone to dangerous tears in reality. Only these powerful individuals and their cohorts can navigate these orbs and the dangers they introduce, and that makes for a ton of adventure for this free to play brawler.
We were impressed by gorgeous animation and slick combat systems that are core to a Proxy’s mission. A diverse range of outrageous minions and some impressive world building make this one to watch. As the global release date approaches, its final closed beta, also known as the Amplifying Test, concludes today at 11:59 pm (UTC+8). If you want to sign up, pre-register via the PlayStation™ Store, Google Play, App Store, and Epic Games Store to receive abundant in-game rewards after the game comes online on 4 July. This includes up to 20 Master Tapes, which can be used to obtain rare characters, the playable Agent Corin, 30,000 Dennies, and Boopons, an in-game item used to obtain rare Bangboo.
