Console owners are going to hoove a chance to trot to victory when Them’s Fighting Herds comes to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch on 18 October.

Announced at the end of last week, we’ve just been had a chance to catch up with the news that high kicking mane whipping action is about to make an entry on consoles. Players picking up this new entry in the competitive arena will arrive as both digital and physical editions, offering players eager to pick a mighty steed the option of a deluxe and standard edition of the title.

This cartoon beat ‘em up featuring brightly colored ponies, unicorns, and adorable llamas first bounded onto PC back in April 202, after a Kickstarter campaign and time in early acces testing. Featuring 4-button fighting mechanics, a balanced magic system, enhanced super attacks, and juggle decay to prevent infinite combos this unusual equine experience mixes character design by acclaimed cartoon producer Lauren Faus and plenty of play modes. While tutorial, story, and replay options are all available, online cross play with rollback netcode is easily a highlight.

If you want a twist on the excellent Guilty Gear: Strive or even Dragon Ball FighterZ then Them’s Fighting Herds is worth a look. If undomesticated quadrupeds are your thing then check out the official website now.
