Thirteenth Doctor Who Arrives In Comics This Fall

Today BBC Worldwide Americas and Titan Comics announced that, alongside premiering in the next Doctor Who season, the Thirteenth Doctor will be debuting in comics this fall! Also noteworthy is that the series will be spearheaded by an impressive group of all female writing and art team!

This brand-new ongoing comic series, written by Eisner-nominated writer Jody Houser (Orphan Black, Star Wars: Rogue One, Amazing Spider-Man: Renew Your Vows, Faith, Supergirl, Mother Panic) with art by fan-favorite artist Rachael Stott (The Twelfth Doctor, Motherlands) joined by colorist Enrica Angolini (Warhammer 40,000), features the Thirteenth Doctor, as played by Jodie Whittaker. The new Doctor made her first appearance on 2017’s Doctor Who Christmas Special, “Twice Upon A Time,” regenerating from Peter Capaldi’s Twelfth Doctor.

As previously announced, this Fall of 2018, will see the debut of the hotly anticipated new TV season ushering in a brand-new era for Doctor Who fans with Executive Producer Chris Chibnall’s fresh, focused vision and the arrival of Jodie Whittaker, the Thirteenth Doctor as the first female Doctor, alongside a team played by Bradley Walsh, Mandip Gill, and Tosin Cole. Series 11 will be an unprecedented year full of action and adventure.
