PowerA has just revealed a new controller timed to celebrate Kirby’s 30th anniversary, and it’s utterly adorable.
It’s big, pink, and the cutest adventuring companion you’ll likely to see any time soon. PowerA’s newest entry in t’s lineup of licensed accessories is a Nintendo Switch controller that is prime fodder for Kirby fans. The new handheld is a wired piece that comes covered in the custom colors of Nintendo’s other mascot, with gorgeous pink buttons, the aforementioned pink protagonist, and a cute little star in the center of it all. The latest device to come out of PowerA is functionally similar to PowerA’s other Enhanced Wired Controllers, including a 10ft cable and mappable buttons to keep you near the top of your game.
This isn’t the only additional accessory that PowerA is dropping for Kirby’s big day. There’s also news of a new Nintendo Switch case. Branded with the same candy pink and blue colors, it fits the Nintendo Switch – OLED Model, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite console. There is room for a console, games, and there’s a built-in kick stand so you can turn to tabletop gaming. It’s almost as cute as stuffing your console inside an actual Kirby.
