THQ Nordic and Nickelodeon Join Forces to revive old games

THQ Nordic and Nickelodeon announced today that they will be working together to revive some old video game titles from several franchises connected to the Latter. Together they hope to bring many of these classics to modern systems over 2018 and beyond. According to Adrienne Lauer, VP Digital Sales & Business Development Americas at THQ Nordic This partnership has been long asserted effort with original talks beginning back with THQ. She stated in the press release that, “This one hits close to home! We are very proud of signing this agreement, which was originally executed by the “former” THQ Inc,”.

Both content creators voiced a shared excitement over the project with on Roman, Senior Vice President, Toys, Nickelodeon, stating that “The appetite for Nickelodeon content old and new continues to grow and it’s exciting to bring our beloved content to new audiences through this partnership with THQ Nordic,”. Together they hope to release several older titles including games such as Avatar: The Last Airbender, Jimmy Neutron, and Spongebob Squarepants to name a few. Although no release dates have been announcement THQ Nordic and Nickelodeon have plans to begin releasing games this year. For a full list of the games being released check out the Title list Below.
