As an homage to this era, THQ Nordic network member HandyGames delivers more dynamic pair than Mill and Vanilli in Rad Rodgers: Radical Edition for Nintendo Switch.
In Rad Rodgers, you will play as the titular hero – an energetic boy with a lively personally and a serious love for video games. After a long night of his favorite past time, Rad conks out in front of his TV only to be roused by his now sentient console powering itself back on and a vortex swallowing him into his television set! It here that Rad will star in his own video game alongside his trust console, Dusty – who happens to a fair bit saltier in the language department. I guess that’s what happens when the parental locks are off!
Rad and Dusty must traverse seven stages filled with platforming challenges, thematic humor, and plenty of action. With an arsenal of data to draw from, Dusty equips Rad with glorious guns to kick some digital derrière. Unlock collectables, find secret rooms, and use your precision skills to discover all of the secrets Rad’s video game world has to offer.
To turn things up to eleven, Rad Rodgers: Radical Edition includes two player couch co-op, battle modes, new mini games and overworked, and new playable characters. These playable characters are a colorful bunch from THQ Nordic’s past titles like Duke Nuken, Cosmo’s Cosmic Adventure, and Shadow Warrior.
Rad Rodgers is currently available on Steam, Xbox One, and Playstation 4, but the forthcoming Switch release will bring all of the Radical Edition content to the game.
