Three DOOM games land on PS4, XB1, and Switch

In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the DOOM franchise, Bethesda and id Software have announced that the original trilogy of games is now available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Mobile gamers on both iOS and Android devices can enjoy D1 and Dii as well. The first two games run $4.99 each, while the third is $9.99.

D1 includes all of the original content plus “Episode IV: Thy Flesh Consumed” that includes nine new levels. Players can enjoy 4-play local co-op or deathmatch as well.

Dii features the base game plus the Master Levels that were created by community members under supervision by the dev team. Dii also includes local 4-player multiplayer or co-op.

Lastly, DOOM 3 includes the base game and the Resurrection of Evil expansion and The Lost Missions expansion pack.

None of the games has ever appeared on a Nintendo console, so this is a momentous occasion.
