Three New Cyberpunk 2077 Videos & Night City Wire Episode 2

If you were busy in cyberspace last night, you might have missed a whole host of new information released by CD Projekt Red, including three new Cyberpunk 2077 videos.

Giving fans a glimpse into the world of Cyberpunk, the second episode of Night City Wire showcased all three of these new featurettes, included an interview with Lead Quest Designer Pawel Sasko, and loaded up a ton of information on this upcoming adventure.

Lifepaths

First of the three videos, titled Lifepaths, is an in-depth look at the different backstories players will be able to choose for V. We already know that the Streetkids, Nomads, and Corpos all function as part of the melting pot of Night City. It’s up to players to decide whether V will start grifting the dirty streets and living by his wits or bowing to the power of the corporations among steel and glass. The Lifepaths teaser provides a look at the people and situations that will influence V’s experiences throughout the game. You can catch it up above.

Tools Of Destruction

Tools of Destruction is exactly what you’d expect. This gives us all a closer insp[ection of the weapons available in Cyberpunk 2077. For those of you that caught our reaction to the Cyberpunk 2077 Gamescom 2019 presentation, or saw the same presentation online last year, you’ll already know that Cyberpunk 2077 is not a linear run and gun. There are a multitude of different RPG style specs available and the tools of destruction on offer must align with these. So, whether its a Tsunami Nekomata, the Thermal Katana, or the Projectile Launch System, you’ll find them here.

Becoming Samurai

Finally, the third of the aforementioned Cyberpunk 2077 videos available to view below, is a dive into the process of bringing the in-game rock group SAMURAI to life. This includes interviews and tracks from the Swedish hardcore punk band Refused.
