Throng and Liberty isn’t even out yet, but the Siege the Day livestreams will have content creators playing king of the castle for two days.
Get a good long look at what it takes to become the lord of all that you see. Amazon has announced a look ahead to the launch of Throne & Liberty with two days of updates, developer interviews, and streamers bashing the living daylights out of the upcoming MMORPG.
Across 24 and 25 September players can see content creators from North America and Europe will clash over regional crowns across 3v3 Arenas, Conquest Battles, and Castle Siege. Viewers tuning in on the Amazon Games Twitch Channel can set their clocks to the following timetable:
September 24: 2 p.m. PT (9 p.m. UTC) – North American creator competition
3v3 Arenas, Battle for the Boonstone, and Castle Siege
September 25: 10 a.m. PT (5:00 p.m. UTC) – European creator competition
3v3 Arenas, Battle for the Riftstone, and Castle Siege
While the 3v3 arena speaks for itself, the other content might be worth a bit more of your time. Castle Sieges are the centre piece of this expansive adventure. After battling through the open world and gearing up to become a formidable adversary, players in the most powerful guilds can close the doors on forts they own and try to hold onto valuable territory. Much like developer NCSoft’s Aion, this means guilds will be able to batter down the doors, sneak inside entrances, or find other inventive ways to overcome the defenders. Giant walking siege machines, powerful spells, and tactical co-ordination all make this worth a watch.

We don’t know who is going to do battle quite yet, but this is a great opportunity to check out the endgame action before putting money down on Throne & Liberty. For those that missed the call to arms earlier, Throne & Liberty is a fantasy MMORPG where might and magic are all used to conquer your opponents. Mixing a massive open world, impressive graphics, tons of customization, and huge competitive castle sieges, this is set to be a very different experience to publisher Amazon’s New World.
