Thymesia the plague ridden action RPG from Team17 is now set to come to Xbox Series S|X and Playstation 5 next year.
Publisher team17 and developer Overborder Studio have announced that the gruelling action RPG Thymesia is now due to get a next gen console release when the title releases next year. Joining the upcoming release of Thymesia on PC, this console news brings a dark and decaying kingdom to a whole new audience. It will plunge brave souls into a once vibrant society, now in ruin thanks to the power of Alchemy, arming them with an intricate plague system in their adventure,
Playing as a mysterious shapeshifting character named Corvus, anybody across PC or console will take charge of a capable warrior out to recover their memories and save this desolate land. Using plague as a weapon, players lunging into an action combat encounter can seize diseases from enemies and use them as a weapon to cut through resistance. This unique ability provides a huge range of options to Corvus as they attack, parry, and morph into raven form to keep out of danger. This all seems fitting for the dark and gloomy tone set in the title’s trailer, presenting us with a twisted environment full of mutated enemies to take down.
