Tiny Barbarian DX Cover Art to be a Whole Lot Better Than a Petroglyph

Nicalis has announced that Tiny Barbarian DX for Switch will feature some pretty amazing cover art. Fans who purchase a physical edition of the game will see artwork by artist Susumu Matsushita. He is best known for his work with the Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu. In addition, a featurette will be included about the making of the box art.

What is Tiny Barbarian DX?

The game is described as an action-packed side-scroller. In addition, there is platform jumping and sword swinging as well as “loincloth stirring chiptunes”. We honestly cannot make these descriptions up.

The game is a sword ’em up inspired by fantasy pulp fiction. Like those short stories, the game is split into four distinct episodes, each with a new setting, new enemies, and new music! It’s Time to Get Tiny!

  • State of the art low-def graphics shock and amaze!
  • Slice and slam fearsome foes with stunning swordplay!
  • Jump, grab, and climb past precarious platforms push your pixel prowess to perfection!

Players can look for the Switch game sometime in late 2017 for $29.99.
