Can’t make it to the Tokyo game Show? Don’t Worry. Tokyo Game Show is dipping into VR with the launch of an online metaverse space showcasing the biggest titles at the event. Over 30 companies will open their online doors to consumers from across the globe, giving us all a look at some of the news from Chiba, without having to face a full on international flight.
Based on a series of virtual floating islands, the upcoming Tokyo Game Show VR, or TGSVR2023, will opens its doors to the public to coincide with the Tokyo Game Show. 11 days of fantasy will soon unfold, giving players and attendees from all over the globe a chance to explore some of the titles that are on the show floor, view incredible online exhibitions, and play with the magic of the show. Alongside game trailers, expect to fling spells with your online avatar, complete quests, and maybe see some of the VR ambassadors. Just be sure to have your Meta Quest 2, Rift, Rift S, HTC Vive / Vive Pro series, or Valve Index setup and ready to go. Eager attendees can also load up on PC, iOS, and Android.
Tokyo Game Show VR has announced that VTubers Kagami Hayato, Shu Yamino, and the Omega Sisters are acting as the face of this intriguing new exhibition. When things kick off on21 September, pull on a headset and see what the likes of Koei Tecmo games, Capcom, Bandai Namco, Square, and Konami have in store for a digital Tokyo Game Show.
