Tomb Raider Movie Dated for March 2018

If you’re a Tomb Raider fan, you’ll be happy to hear that the movie has been dated. You can look for it in theaters in March 2018. The movie stars Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft, a role she seems born to play.

According to a post on the movie’s official Facebook page, a new trailer is going to be released on September 19th. The page admins provided a bit of a sneak peek:

The movie is based on the 2013 game and includes Croft’s origin story. The script was written by Geneva Robertson-Dworet, an in-demand script writer. She has also been tapped for Captain Marvel, Dungeons & Dragons, Gotham City Sirens, M.A.S.K., Sherlock Holmes 3 and others.
