Top 10 Fighters In EA Sports UFC 4

UFC 4

Electronic Arts (EA) released a new UFC iteration in 2020 and they surprised almost everyone with the latest list of the top 10 fighters in the octagon. For the first time in history, a woman tops the list ahead of renowned competitors like Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic.

But EA Sports did not stop there as there are also two more female names among the top-ranking fighters: Valentina Shevchenko (4th) and Weili Zhang (7th). Let’s see who else is on the list and discuss EA’s top picks.

1. Amanda Nunes

Amanda Nunes is the first female ever to become the highest-rated EA Sports UFC fighter. The bantamweight fighter is currently the champion of two UFC divisions, the UFC Bantamweight Championship and the UFC Featherweight Championship.

Amanda earned a five-star rating thanks to the incredible wrestling skills combined with a pair of powerful hands. However, there’s a long way ahead of Amanda Nunes as she will have to prove that she is worthy of the number one position in UFC 4.

2. Jon Jones

Jon Jones is the runner up, but we believe EA Sports had a hard time deciding whether to make him the top seed. Many believe that Jones, the undefeated light heavyweight fighter, already earns the title of the Greatest of All Time (GOAT). Apart from his superior technique, Jones is known for his fitness and unprecedented endurance.

3. Khabib Nurmagomedov

Khabib Nurmagomedov currently holds third place in the UFC4 race. The legend of the octagon mat is also undefeated and there aren’t too many UFC betting websites that would recommend playing against this lightweight competitor. Lots of UFC enthusiasts don’t like Khabib’s fighting style, but that doesn’t bother the champion who already obliterated the likes of Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier.

4. Valentina Shevchenko

The second lady and the number four on the latest UFC list is Valentina Shevchenko, a flyweight fighter with a five-star rating. If you think Valentina is not worthy of the position, you should definitely check out her matches and start admiring her beautiful fighting technique.

5. Henry Cejudo

Number five goes to Henry Cejudo, Olympic Gold medalist with two UFC championship titles. Henry is the first 4.5-star rated fighter on the list, but that doesn’t make him any less dangerous or impressive. What sets Cejudo apart is the fact he has no weaknesses in particular, which makes it extremely difficult to pick the fighting tactic against him.

6. Israel Adesanya

EA Sports UFC 4 recognized Israel Adesanya as one of the game’s fastest-growing stars and it earned him a sixth place on the top 10 list. The UFC middleweight champion is a fierce counterpuncher with amazing defense skills, but his wrestling is what Israel still needs to improve if he wants to make it all the way to the top of the game.

7. Zhang Weili

Zhang Weili is the Chinese fighting star and the seventh-seeded fighter on the UFC4 list. She holds the Women’s Strawweight Championship title with a near-perfect record of 21 wins and a single loss. Zhang’s striking talent is sensational, but she could have problems with fighters who are ready to go the distance.

8. Stipe Moicic

Stipe Moicic is the only heavyweight fighter among EA’s top ten picks, but for good reasons. Moicic, the current UFC Heavyweight Champion, is the guy who can knock down everyone with just one punch. Even though he’s not a fan of mat fighting, he can successfully fend of wrestlers and wait for the knockout opportunity.

9. George St-Pierre

George St-Pierre is the welterweight fighter who successfully defended the UFC title nine times before retiring in 2013. His retirement is probably the only reason why EA Sports didn’t award him with a higher position, but his all-around skills and stamina should still make everyone worried when entering the octagon.

10. Kamaru Usman

Kamaru Usman is the UFC Welterweight Champion with the striking abilities of a middleweight fighter. We believe that the last position on the list doesn’t do justice to Kamary because he can successfully fight against every opponent regardless of their style or technique.

Conclusion

EA Sports definitely changed the UFC top 10 landscape and added a bunch of new names to the list. Do you like their choices and who is your pick for the best UFC4 fighter?
