Get your farming gear out again as Toplitz announces an intention to publish Masterbrain Byte’s Cattle and Crops.
The Austrian publishing outfit, that already has Farmer’s Dynasty in its paddock, is about to feed a seemingly insatiable appetite for farming sims with this new title. Toplitz broke new ground on the deal yesterday and the move will bring the title out of Early Access into live launch on PC. A console conversion of the farming sim is also planned for post-launch.
“Our goal was to find a publisher that would understand and share our vision of farming simulation and can support us in the development process,” said Lars Beinsen, Managing Director of Masterbrain Bytes. “With Toplitz, we have found this partner at every level. We are very much looking forward to the cooperation and the new possibilities that this partnership will bring to the project in the future.”
We don’t have the final release date or price for this title, but we do know plenty about how Cattle and Crops is shaping up.
Developed by a small team based in Bremen, Germany, Cattle and Crops is the type of life simulator experience that Toplitz specializes in bringing to gamers. Like the Dynasty series, this game aims to give players a full farming adventure. Everything from heavy machinery, to crop levels, and day to day tasks fit together to place an increasing set of demands on players. As you harvest crops, maintain your equipment, fix the fence, and feed the chickens farm owners will need to be acutely aware of the finances involved in farming. The game even features a set of dynamic weather functions that players will have to deal with I they want to see their farm blossom.
You can already check out Cattle and Crops over on Steam Early Access right now or alternatively try out, our own time on the farm while you wait on this one.
