Torchlight: Infinite Launch Adds New Season and Guilds

Torchlight: Infinite Launch

Torchlight: Infinite is now available on iOS and Android stores, with the global launch adding a ton of new features for heroes.

Torchlight: Infinite is finally available worldwide, with updated gameplay and an exciting new season of content. The return of an iconic gaming name to mobile storefronts comes straight out of publisher X.D. and the newest version of this diablobolical dungeon crawler adds a ton of new features. Now fully out of beta testing across iOS and Android, it adds a new season, an additional hero, new traits, loot, events, systems, and social systems to make you and your guild awesome.

New Stuff

At the core of this free to play experience are the heroes of Torchlight. Now players have the option of picking up a new character, called Bing. Admittedly Bing was announced a couple of weeks ago, but is the perfect choice for somebody jumping back in and looking to make an explosive start. This character comes with a cache full of explosives and is likely to do a ton of AoE damage to anything that gets in the way. Players will also find the new Incarnation of the Gods Hero Trait for Thea

There’s a new Talent Panel that presents a puzzle-like tangram which can be filled out by placing new lootable items known as Divinity Slates. In the end, this will unlock additional bonuses on top of existing buffs and bonusses.

Additional crafting is introduced in the form of the Prototype Production and Targeted Processing, while I’m most excited about Guilds. Hunters can create and join guilds, communicating with friends and obtaining rewards from guild events.

First of those new exciting events is the Cube Dash contest, with event rewards for supporters, and a $10,000 prize pool for the top 100 players who can collect the most puzzle pieces in the community event. This is already live, so get moving if you want to top that board.

Finally, a whole bunch of I game quality of life improvements, Steam Deck compatibility, and even a chat with David Brevik is likely to take some time to get familiar with. So, if you’re ready to dive into a game we’ve been hyped about since our hands on, check out Torchlight: infinite now on the official website.

For those of you who I’ve not met yet, my name is Ed. After an early indoctrination into PC gaming, years adrift on the unwashed internet, running a successful guild, and testing video games, I turned my hand to writing about them. Now, you will find me squawking across a multitude of sites and even getting to play games now and then
