Creative Assembly has released a twenty minutes video highlighting the new Records Mode that comes as part of Three Kingdoms. Records mode is one of two unique modes coming with the title. With a heavy focus on realism and historical accuracy, this new mode aims to present a realistic presentation of the great conflicts of the 3rd century in Ancient China.
Three Kingdoms second mode, Romance, offers a more fantastical experience for players. This mode will over larger than life representations of historical characters. Unlike Records mode, which treats your generals as normal people, Romance mode offers instead more heroic versions of characters.
Essentially these two modes offer a different approach to playing Three Kingdoms in the hopes of offering something for a wide range of players. Total War: Three Kingdoms is set to release on PC May 23rd, 2019. For more information head over to the official Steam page.
