Total War: Warhammer III Announced

Total War: Warhammer III is officially coming to conquer your expectations and it looks set to be even bigger than previous outings.

Creative Assembly, SEGA Europe, and Games Workshop have announced that players across the realms are set to throw down with orcs again with the announcement of Total War: Warhammer III. Coming to Pc via Steam and Epic Games storefronts, the third in the Warhammer themed strategy sim is set to further expand on the successes of previous Total War: Warhammer titles introducing a ton of new storylines, locations and races from this world of Warhammer.

Described as epic in scale, by a blog over on the Creative Assembly website, the new campaign will drop commanders back into stretch from the mysterious Lands of the East to the daemon-infested Realms of Chaos. Iconic new races from the World of Warhammer Fantasy Battles debut in this instalment, including Kislev and Cathay. The Chaos factions Khorne, Nurgle, Slaanesh and Tzeentch also appear this time around.

“Our vision, from the start, was to create a series that felt like an incredible journey through this world we all loved.,” said Game Director, Ian Roxburgh. “The enormous support of our players in ensuring the success of the first two instalments has pushed our ambition to new heights, and we can’t wait for everyone to experience it.”

Fans of the Warhammer strategy series will have been waiting for what is expected to be the closing gambit in an epic tale, and it looks likely to wage war with the most diverse array of legendary heroes, gargantuan monsters, flying creatures and magical powers that the series has ever seen.
