Travel an Ocean of Adventure in Breakwaters

Soaring Pixels has released a brand new gameplay trailer for Breakwaters, its upcoming “exploration-survival game set in an ever-changing oceanic world”. The video gives viewers a peek into the game that is set to hit PC early access later in 2021 and showcases how players will interact with water by sailing, swimming, and flying around an ocean world to find new islands.

As is typical of most survival games, players will need to be on the hunt for unique resources to build, craft, and survive this watery world. The trailer shows some of the larger buildings, different water interactions, and some combat with several different enemies. Players will be able to engage with the world either solo or with friends while trying to navigate treacherous oceans filled with massive monsters “constantly roaming the world causing destruction”.

Features include:

• Online co-op and single player.
• The largest ocean simulation in a game ever that creates a unique interactive open-world experience.
• Defeat Titans as large as an island and fight Golems as big as a house.
• Gather crystals and refine them into items that displace and deform the ocean revealing rich resources below.
