Developer Undercoders and publisher Numskull Games have revealed the release date of platformer/action-adventure Treasures of the Aegean. Join parkour master Marie Taylor and treasure hunter James Andrew in this historical action thriller on November 11 on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam.
Our heroes must explore and decipher the secrets of a mysterious island to escape from the time loop they’re trapped in. The island is presented as a huge 2D open-world and players can freely roam using smooth parkour mechanics. However, time is ticking as the island is unstable and sinks within a limited amount of time. Inspired by fantasy thriller comics, the game borrows a unique European comic album aesthetic with a plot based on historical events.
Additionally, the developers have revealed Treasures of the Aegean Collector’s Edition. It includes an original comic + artbook, with the prologue of the game and some artwork too, a CD soundtrack and a cloth map of the island.
