Fans of El Presidente will be happy to know that their favorite dictator is coming to Nintendo Switch when Tropico 6 lands there on November 6th. The Switch version will join other versions found on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game is already available for preorder on the Nintendo eShop.
Budding despots will find the same great gameplay as in other versions and will include all previously released content and patches, an exclusive palace design, a Flamingo Pond accessory, and a special outfit for El Presidente.
We trotted out the game in 2019 handing it a 7/10 score. I’m not usually a “city-building” kind of gamer. Aside from some dalliances within a particularly in-depth RTS, or in a few of the newer survival type games. Even then, they are little more than curious dalliances. So imagine my surprise when I found this particular title pulling me in as its deceptive simplicity evolved into multi-tiered complexity and intense micromanaging capacities.
Since our review, several DLC have been released including Lobbistico, Spitter, The Llama of Wall Street, El Prez Edition Upgrade, and the game’s original soundtrack.
