Earlier today, Cartoon Network announced that two of their series-based video games, Steven Universe: Save the Light and OK K.O.! Let’s Play Heroes, would be coming to the Nintendo Switch on November 2nd.
Written with the help of series creator Rebecca Sugar, Steven Universe: Save the Light sends you on an adventure beginning in Beach City to halt the machinations of a mysterious new Gem. Assemble characters from the show, get sweet loot, level up, and use powerful Fusion moves to duke it out in a mix of turn-based and real-time combat. Steven Universe: Save the Light is developed by Grumpyface Studios. Steven Universe: Save the Light will cost $24.99 USD in the Nintendo Shop.
OK K.O.! Let’s Play Heroes by Capybara Games tells an original storyline with the help of series creator Ian Jones-Quartey. In this story, Lord Boxman has reset the levels of every hero in the mall of heroes. Follow the adventure of young K.O. as he fights the robot hordes of Lord Boxman in this smash-and-bash brawler! Build a team of zany heroes, level up, and learn combos to become a hero worthy of legends! OK K.O.! Let’s Play Heroes will cost $19.99 USD in the Nintendo Shop.
Following this digital release, a full retail bundle is planning for release in March of 2019. This physical bundle would include both Steven Universe: Save the Light and OK K.O.! Let’s Play Heroes with a release on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Upon release, the bundle will cost $39.99 USD.
