Nintendo Switch players will soon be getting the chance to become survivors in a zombie-infested world when The Walking Dead games finally arrive. Both The Walking Dead: Season Two and The Walking Dead: A New Frontier will be making their debut on September 10th. According to Skybound, both games will be available in the Nintendo eShop, though no pricing has been revealed at the moment.
Both games are based on the comics created by Robert Kirkman.
Season Two picks up where the first game left off and follows the adventures of the orphaned Clementine. As with any title set in this universe, the story centers on survival and finding others when they’re needed most.
“Many months have passed since the events seen in Season One of The Walking Dead, and Clementine is searching for safety. But what can an ordinary child do to stay alive when the living can be just as bad – and sometimes worse – than the dead? As Clementine, you will be tested by situations and dilemmas that will test your morals and your instinct for survival. Your decisions and actions will change the story around you.”
New Frontier follows the story of Javier who is on a journey to find his family. Along the way, he meets — you guessed it — Clementine. The two find that their “fates are bound together in a story where every choice could be the last”.
