Ubi delays Immersive Mode for Ghost Recon Breakpoint

Ghost Recon Breakpoint

If you’ve been looking forward to the massive Immersive Mode update for Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint, you’re going to be waiting a bit longer. According to a new post on the game’s official site, Ubi announced a delay in the release of the anticipated patch to an unspecified point in the Spring. The new Engineer class is expected to launch alongside the immersive update as well as Episode 2.

“The complexity of integrating this new mode has proven to be a challenge and we want to ensure that the experience will be a great one when it releases.” the blog reads. “The immersive mode will still release this Spring. We’ll share more firm timing as soon as we are able.”

Immersive mode is being designed based on feedback from a Community Survey about the game. The goal of the overhaul is to bring the game more in line with its roots and to overhaul key features including the loot system and survival mechanics. Ubi has been quiet on more specific detail and we can only hope that more information is released in the coming weeks. The team is committed to more transparent communication that it “aims to provide whenever possible”.
