Ubisoft has unveiled the first details about a new feature that will be part of the upcoming release of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction. When the game launches on January 20, 2022, it will come with a new feature called the Buddy Pass. Those who purchase the game regardless of which edition will receive two Buddy Pass tokens that will allow them to invite friends to play for up to 14-days for free. Any progress made during the two-week free trial will be retained if buddies purchase the full game.
The post also announces that players who purchase Extraction and who own Rainbow Six Siege will receive the United Front Bundle:
Rainbow Six Extraction stars 18 Operators recruited from the ranks of Rainbow Six Siege to join REACT, the organization led by Mira, Ash, and Thermite to confront the alien threat. Players who own Siege and purchase Extraction will be granted the United Front bundle, which contains four exclusive gearsets split between the two games. Furthermore, the United Front bundle will immediately unlock all 18 Operators featured in Extraction for use in Rainbow Six Siege.
Pre-orders for Extraction are already open for PC via the Ubisoft Store, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Luna, and Stadia. There are two editions available, each with a pair of Buddy Passes. Players can purchase Extraction in the following editions:
- Standard – $39.99
- Deluxe – $49.99
Each purchase comes with the Orbital Decay cosmetic bundle and the Deluxe Edition also adds three bonus packs.
