On July 12th, Ubisoft will be hosting a virtual game show called “Ubisoft Forward”. The event takes the place of the physical summer games shows that have been postponed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The show will take place on July 12th beginning at 12:00 pm Pacific / 3:00 pm Eastern and will undoubtedly be broadcast across all of the company’s social media channels. According to the brief note on the Ubisoft site, fans can look forward to “an E3-style showcase with plenty of exclusive game news, exciting reveals, and much more”.

While we don’t have any details about what fans can expect, we are fairly certain that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be prominently on display after last week’s announcement. In addition, Ubisoft has been hinting that it will be releasing five major games by early 2021. It is likely that at least one of its other core franchises will have a new release during this time window, perhaps from the long-running Far Cry series or an addition to the Ghost Recon franchise. During E3 2019, Ubi revealed Gods and Monsters which is likely to make an appearance during the show alongside Rainbow Six Quarantine and Watch Dogs Legion. Other games of note that may feature a presence at the Ubisoft digital event include Skull & Bones and Beyond Good & Evil 2. Of course, there are also likely to be announcements of new games as well.
We’ll keep you posted as more is revealed. In the meantime, head to the link above to check out the full announcement.
