Vanimals and Skystone Games have announced that their indie adventure game, Undying, will shamble out of Steam early access on October 17th. Players can purchase a copy of the game for $19.99 and play the early access version ahead of the v1.0 release. All this is great news for the game that has scored nearly 900 “Very or Mostly Positive” reviews from early access players on Steam.
According to the development team, v1.0 will overhaul nearly every major feature in the game, including story, combat, survival elements, dungeons, and more. In addition, players will find new locations to explore, uncover secrets, and meet characters along the way.
Players take on the role of a young mother, Anling, who has been bitten by a zombie and is now infected herself. Her singular goal is to protect her son from the zombie hordes and from her as she struggles to survive. The pair search for safety while Anling tries to teach Cody valuable skills “at any cost.”
