Vail VR, a hyper realistic VR shooter, is prepared to blow away your expectations as it begins Open Beta testing.

Grab your controllers and strap on a headset, Vail VR is kicking off a summer of explosive action. The team behind this fast-paced competitive experience has kicked off an Open Beta on Steam today. Players who want to jump straight into the action and participate in this pre-release event can sign up to participate right now, via Steam, and experience 360 degrees of freedom as you team up and take over the front room to come out victorious in VR.

For anybody who hasn’t heard of Vail VR yet, this upcoming immersive shooter takes the traditional Team Fortress shooter and expands it in all directions. Clean visuals and full body animation give all participants a chance to take aim across a range of game modes and arenas. Two distinct factions clash across VAIL’s own take on Search and Destroy, while a whole host of armaments are available to take down opponents.

While plenty of flashy flatscreen arena shooters might make for more colourful displays, Vail is designed with accuracy and competitive integrity in mind, meaning AEXLAB’s net code, player models, and performance should keep everyone on an even footing. If you’ve got a Vale Index, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, or Windows Mixed Reality headset then Vail VR is waiting now. Check out more about Vail VR on the official Steam Store Page.
