The developers from Iron Gate studio continue sharing details regarding the upcoming Valheim update Hearth & Home. Previously the team explored the changes coming to the food system as well as health & stamina. This time the devs are here to outline what is going to be changing in terms of wielding shields and blocking.
Tower shields will get a significant buff, providing players with a lot more knockback compared to the other shields featured in the game. If you want to play defensively, this type of shield might be your best choice despite it being relatively slow!
The buckler lands on the opposite side of the spectrum, offering less in terms of blocking put providing players with an opportunity to parry incoming strikes.
The regular round shields will continue to be a balanced choice compared to the two.
Valheim: Hearth & Home update is slated to launch in Q3 2021.
