Fans of the beloved Tactical JRPG Valkyria Chronicles 4 will have to wait a little longer than planned to get their Switch release. Originally slated for summer 2018 release in Japan, SEGA announced that the release window would be pushed to this coming Fall. No specifics as to the change were at the time of the announcement but it was noted that a voucher will come with the purchase of Valkyria Chronicles 4. This voucher will give players the opportunity to purchase the newly announced Valkyria Chronicles for Nintendo Switch when it releases at a price point of roughly $4.50 USD.
Although the game is currently only available in Japan, Western gamers can look forward to a North American / European release this Fall as well. A North American / European Switch release had not been announced at the time of writing but based on the staggered global release on other platforms it seems safe to assume that we can hope to see Valkyria Chronicles 4 on our Switch here in North America sometime later this year.
