The developers of competitive team-based shooter Valorant have released patch 4.05, adding a variety of updates and enhancements to the game. The changes include game system updates, bug fixes, competitive updates and more.
Agent Brimstone received some changes. The number of Stim Beacon charges has been reduced to 1 (from 2) and the cost increased to 200 (from 100). The devs explained it by admitting that having two stims reduced the importance of deploying them at the right moment.
Game system updates include the ability to import and export different crosshair settings via auto-generated codes as well as reworked “prioritize strongest weapon” setting. The team added a new setting that skips past the melee when finding the most recent weapon to auto-equip.
In competitive updates, Riot Games enabled Deterministic Map System for all regions. This option should increase the variety of maps in your queue.
