A new story trailer for Vampyr has dropped today, giving new details about the tale of the upcoming action RPG.
Set in post-World War One London, the game tells the story of Dr. Jonathan Reid. Reid is a man of medical science and reason that finds himself plunged into a dark, supernatural worlds of ancient societies, a mysterious disease, and an impending hunt for the likes of himself: a newly reborn vampire. Yours is a quest of discovery, dealing with the crippling Spanish flu epidemic ravaging the streets of London as well as your own condition.
Developed on the Unreal 4 engine by the studio behind Life is Strange and Remember Me, this particular game puts the agency in the hands of the player to unlock a versatile skill tree and awaken Reid’s newly acquired powers.
Will Reid cling to his humanity or embrace the night? We will find out on June 5th as Vampyr comes to Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
