The release of the recent player vs player game mode for this instance brawler has pushed the player count to an all year high. Developer Fatshark has confirmed that a staggering 5000,000 new players entered the Warhammer spin off since the release of a new mode, and a cursory glance at Steam DB finds a fivefold increase in the player count since it unlocked the arena.

Versus mode is a brand-new way to play through brutal adventure. It takes the original game mode and switches things up, so you pick a side. Players grabbing a hammer and crushing skulls can take turns playing as both the beloved Ubersreik Five Heroes and the Pactsworn. Pick from a range of powerful heroes with incredible powers, or just some bulging muscles, as they shoot bash, and blow their way through the chaos that creeps across classic Vermintide maps.
