Haemimont Games has announced that it’s best selling action RPG, Victor Vran, is heading to Nintendo Switch this summer. The Overkill Edition will be available in both digital and physical editions. Developers promise that the game will be the “first of its kind for Nintendo Switch” and that it is a “masterpiece both technically and in its gameplay”.
Recently, our own Matt Keith reviewed the PlayStation 4 version of the Overkill Edition and had this to say before handing it a 9.5/10 score:
“The game offers some solid replayability in the form of map challenges. Although this isn’t for everyone the completionist will spend hours running back through areas to find every last secret and complete all of the map challenges. Coupled with this is some balanced difficulty; offering great challenge without becoming frustrating to play through. Haemimont really impressed me with how well both kb/m and controllers work in this game. I hope it works as well on Switch. I love the setting and atmosphere in the game. The combat is responsive and solid. They nailed ARPG and made the game its own thing different from Diablo or Titan Quest.
I agree with the Matt’s point about the replayability as well. Map customization along with the necessity to switch out weapons pushes players be creative to get through or earn achievements. I’ll stop gushing about it now. 😀
