Developer MINTROCKET (Dave the Diver) showed off the action-packed gameplay trailer of the upcoming team-based action Wakerunners. The devs invite players to participate in the mayhem during the playtest between through February 12th.
To participate in the hectic futuristic battles of Wakerunners, all you have to do is log in to the Wakerunners Steam Store using your Steam ID, download the Demo from the official page, install it, dive right in and enjoy!
Wakerunners is a 4v4 & 5v5 team action game set in a near-future Earth, now a relic of its past. Glide through arenas with a top-down view, employing a unique speed mechanic. Unleash swift combat in diverse landscapes for an immersive experience. It is up to you to control the speed by using both acceleration and deceleration when a single move can decide the outcome of the battle.
The game will feature a number of modes to choose from, including Team Deathmatch, Control Conquest, Command Siege, Escort, and Raider. Each character has unique attack styles, movement techniques, and Ultimate Abilities. Choosing varied playstyles for different characters will be the key to victory.
