Warframe: 1999 Techrot Encore dances into action during March 2025.
Deliciously deadly boybands, new Warframes, Infested weapons, and more were unveiled during the latest Warframe Devstream, preparing us all for all the upcoming action across February and March. During the weekend, Digital Extremes took to the internet to connect with the community and present the latest batch of updates from the sci-fi epic Warframe and upcoming adventure Soulframe. The long-running space-faring title produced a heap of upcoming content, with the headline update coming in March 2025 on all platforms.
Warframe: 1999, Techrot Encore is the next entry to update the Lich adversary system, continuing to present players with Warframe’s twit on the Nemesis system. The in-game boy band On-lyne continues to appear as their infested counterparts, the Technocyte Coda. Fight off even more of these off-key invaders to grab one of 13 new Infested weapons, during the upcoming updates, while even more content unlocks.
Players can look forward to the 60th Warframe entering the action. Temple is a glamorous addition to your collection, take a look at the screenshot above for a glimpse. Another four new Protoframes are also set to surface onto the streets of Höllvania too. If none of these are your thing, then there’s still a Gyre Deluxe cosmetic skin set for release., alongside Scaldra-themed cosmetic gear for the Drifter and four new Scaldra weapons: a pistol, sickle, rifle, and grenade launcher.
While the sack full of frames and optional weaponry updates are set to populate Warframe soon, there’s still more to play for before March comes around. You can:
- Rock out as a revitalized Rhino in the fourth addition to the Heirloom cosmetic skin line available in the Warframe Market.
- Return to Ascension in the revival of the Clan Operation: Belly of the Beast. Bullet jump back into the elevator shaft of a Corpus stronghold in a vertical-focused mission to unlock rewards for a limited time starting Feb. 6 at 2 P.M. ET through 3 March.
- Expand ‘90s gear collections with Nightwave Vol. 8, offering fresh rewards for those who take on the daily and weekly challenges prepared.
- Reflect on past accomplishments in the annual Warframe: Your Year in Review recap, now available for everyone via a new webpage to make sharing player stats more accessible with downloadable individual summary cards to share with others.
TennoCon is Coming
TennoCon also got a mention across the weekend’s updates. The latest round of in person action and all-around fan gathering for Tenno is set to return on 18-19th July. Tickets for 2 days of live events go on sale on 7 February, with Digital Packs coming soon. The full schedule is far from confirmed but we do know fans and space ninjas can prepare for autograph signings, a cosplay contest, dev team panels, new announcements around Soulframe, and a brand-new activity dubbed the “TennoConcert”. We’re expecting big things. The event has previously been the stage for big reveals surrounding expansions like Warframe: 1999 and comes with a range of ticketing options for whales and more budget-oriented gamers alike. Although, if you’re not near Ontario, I’d get saving now.
