Digital Extremes has announced that Tenno will be able to take on the Warframe: The Lotus Eaters update on 21 August 2024.

Teased to assembled players during TennoCon 2024, the newest update for Warframe is coming on 21 August 2024. While some of us will be battling other hordes at Gamescom, Tenno can jump in across PC and console platforms to test themselves with a new questline, try out a new Warframe, and experience a prologue to another massive update.

The Lotus Eaters is far from Warframe’s biggest update, but this story beat follows up on the recent Whispers in the Walls. A new narrative chapter includes a preamble to the much-hyped Warframe: 1999, when the Lotus calls upon players to investigate a strange, but familiar sound in Sanctum Anatomica on Deimos.

New Gear

Sevagoth Prime

Alongside the free story updates, players can also get their hands on Sevagoth Prime. This Prime variant includes increased energy, shield, and armor stats along with an extra Naramon Polarity mod slot. Sevagoth is an ominous shadow on the battlefield, ensnaring foes and slowly bleeding them with shadow and gloom. Seemingly taking plenty of inspiration from the traditional Necromancer archetype, the Prime variant makes it even more formidable.

Players will also see a new Prime Weapons. These include the Epitaph Prime, a wrist-mounted sidearm, and team up with the latest Prime companion: Nautilus Prime, a Sentinel equipped with the Cold damaging Verglas Prime weapon. Cosmetic drops, new glyphs, headpieces, and more are also bundled into the update.

Thanks to recent changes in the Prime system, players can craft Sevagoth Prime for free, along with his signature weapons. This isn’t n easy grind, but get the Blueprints by participating in relevant activities, and this cool new Warframe is up for grabs outside the premium cash shops too. Players looking to find out more about The Lotus Eaters update before 1999 arrives can head to the official website or download and leap in across PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and Mobile soon.
