Warframe’s Angels of the Zariman Launches On 27 April

The last expansion to the hugely popular online sci-fi adventure Warframe will Bring Angels of the Zariman to all platforms on 27 April.

Digital Extremes ha announced that the latest major update to Warframe will be with players later this month. As part of the 161st developer stream, the team behind the enigmatic Tenno provided the release date for Angels of the Zariman, as well as a look at the upcoming content in this new expansion. Following on from the acclaimed The New War expansion, this follow-on invites player to explore the nature of the Tenno. As ancient warriors and suits of immeasurable power, these relics of the Ancients seem to hold more mysteries than the fabled Zariman Ten Zero. Players boarding the Zariman will be able to pick up the newest chapter in Warframe’s Cinematic Quest saga. Three new mission types await on board the Zariman, including the Void Flood, Void Cascade, and Void Armageddon. While the Void Flood was introduced during the last dev stream, the Void Cascade got a full reveal during this stream. Anybody jumping into this will find themselves on a survival mission that starts with player life support already on decay. Across the challenge they will need to utilize a range of options to take down enemies and keep themselves alive until their escape.

As usual, you’ll be able to pick up a new playable Warframe, try out customizable player housing, and utilize even more ways to personalize the Warframe Fashion Frame experience during Angels of the Zariman. This include the 49th playable Warframe, Gyre. The full details are below, but suffice to say this shocking new addition is a great new look for anybody on board the Zariman.

Weapons and Customizations
  • Alternox: Gyre’s signature weapon has two electric fire modes. Primary fire shocks enemies with charged orbs. Alternate fire shocks enemies with a long bolt of electricity.
  • Triodic Syandana: Players can amplify their look with Gyre’s signature Syandana.
Abilities
  • Arcsphere: A destructive and crippling Ability. Launch a Gyratory Sphere that will deal high damage on impact and periodically deal electrical shocks to nearby enemies. Hitting at least 3 enemies with the initial launch enhances damage.
  • Coil Horizon: Throw forward a Gyratory Sphere that will implode after 2 seconds, or can be manually triggered.
  • Cathode Grace: Gain a brief burst of increased Critical Chance and Energy Regen, with each kill extending duration of Cathode Grace. Casting is on a cooldown.
  • Rotorswell: Gyre’s mechanisms spin at incredible speeds, generating an Electric Field that shocks nearby enemies. When Gyre gets a critical hit, a large electrical discharge will chain from the enemy that was hit to nearby enemies.
  • Gyre Passive Abilities: Gyre’s Abilities have a 10% chance to deal critical damage for each Electrical status that affects the enemy.

This is barely scratching thew surface, and ardent Tenno can get a leg up on the challenges that await with two new Supporter Packs. These include instant access to add new Weapons, Customizations, Boosters, Warframes, and more.
