PUBG Mobile is about to get visitors from a very different universe when a PUBG Mobile x Warframe event begins today.
Due to arrive on 10 March and running throuh=gh until 19 March, the latest in game event for mobile battle royale PUBG Mobile is far from terrestrial. Across the upcoming crossover, players of this shooter will be witness to epic alien warriors striding the battlefield, and they’ll be able to grab their own Tenno for use in anger.
During this unexpected event, players can earn themed Warframe skins and other exclusive items by participating in, and completing, special missions. This isn’t all that’s due to land in Erangel, but Warframe developers, Digital Extremes, and the team behind PUBG Mobile aren’t ready to tell us everything quite yet.
This might all seem very e=immersion breaking for fans of PUBG. The online battle royale traditionally drops players into a sandbox shooter environment, challenging 100 challengers to scavenge supplies, vehicles, and weapons of a much more mundane variety. Admittedly though, the introduction of a multiplayer online sci-fi adventure to this shooter is likely to be an event that players are unlikely to forget, and it’s all free to play after all.
