Wargroove 2 IS Coming To PC and Console

Wargroove 2 - combat begins

Chucklefish and Robotality have announced Wargroove 2 is coming to PC and Nintendo Switch consoles.

Return to the world of Wargroove, explore the shores of Aurania, and find adventure when Wargroove 2 lands on Pc and Nintendo Switch. The follow up to the massive indie hit, Wargroove, is under development thanks to German Studio Robotality, with publisher Chucklefish adding it to its already impressive lineup. Players sharpening their swords for another round of adorable pixel rt might have to wait a little while. We don’t have a release window yet, but we do know a little about the upcoming tale.

Players who’ve polished off the first in this series and come looking for more will find an ambitious new faction causing calamity. After unearthing forbidden relics capable of catastrophic consequences, it’s down to you to stop them. You’ll take to the field, sea, and sky with a cast of new Commanders, using your wits to wage turn-based war! With these new Commanders, Wargroove 2 adds an all-new tiered Groove system, Co-Op & Multiplayer mode, 5 new unit types, and more to change up the turn-based combat encounters. A new story means 3 new Campaign arcs, all interwoven in a fierce conclusion. Finally, Dale North brings a captivating new soundtrack to this universe. If you caught their work on River City Girls 1 & 2 or RWBY Arrowfell then you’ll know we’re in for a treat.

While there aren’t too many more details floating around, we’re already excited. The first game was a huge success and Chucklefish have a history of putting out great indie titles like Eastward. Check out the trailer above and find out more on the official Wargroove 2 Steam Store page.
