Frontier Foundry and Complex Games have released a brand new trailer from Warhammer 40,000 Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters. In this new video, viewers are treated to a first-look at four of the advanced classes of Grey Knights that they will have access to when the game launches.
Advanced classes are unlocked as players progress through the campaign. Units with these specializations will be added to the unit rotation and will be able to be obtained through requisitions following missions. Each class also features unique upgrades with up to 36 active and passive abilities to unlock.
With Nurgle’s greatest gift to the galaxy, the Bloom, festering across the worlds of the Tyrtaeus sector, Strike Force Xiphos will require access to Grey Knights trained with unique skill sets. These advanced classes of Grey Knights have undergone specialist training at the Citadel of Titan to hone their powerful psychic and physical abilities in preparation for the most dangerous incursions of Chaos in the Materium.
The four classes that can be seen in the trailer are:
- Paladin – The Paladin is an elite Terminator Armour-clad warrior, pulverizing and pounding enemies with powerful combat-focused abilities.
- Chaplain – The Chaplain buffs and emboldens his allies with prayers and litanies, whilst sanctifying and cleansing them from Nurgle’s debilitating ailments.
- Librarian – As a veteran psyker, the Librarian banishes and bursts Daemonkind from the inside out using devastating psychic attacks.
- Purifier – The Purifier incinerates any foe who gets too
