Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader Unveiled the First Dev Diary

Owlcat Games, the developer studio behind two Pathfinder titles and an upcoming Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader cRPG, shared the first developer diary video allowing viewers to take a small sneak peek behind the scenes. Delve into the grim darkness of the far future with Olga Kellner, the lead narrative designer, to learn more about the game.

The team promises players a classic isometric turn-based experience set in the 41st Millennium. Rogue Trader will feature diverse adventures and space exploration, voidship battles, intrigues and many other things – so keep your eyes peeled! As comes from the name of the game, players will take on a role of the Rogue Trader – a scion of an ancient dynasty of privateering explorers that holds sway over a vast trade empire. The Rogue Trader is unbound by most common laws and rules, and their decisions will send ripples across the galaxy.

In the video, the devs also showed off the portraits of some in-game companions and notable NPCs, such as your faithful Seneschal, a dangerous psyker, a zealous Battle Sister, an elusive Aeldari Ranger and even a ferocious Space Wolf.

Meanwhile, Owlcat Games also unveiled a lot of new information regarding Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, another cRPG of the studio. In particular, Owlcat Games revealed major DLC#3: The Treasure of Midnight Isles coming on August 11, containing the long-awaited endless dungeon, and announced the console release – September 29. The Enhanced Edition of the game will become available on the same day. You can find out more here!
