Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr Release Pushed Back

Inquisitor - Martyr Release

Bad news for console players today as it was announced that Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr release has been pushed back to July 5th,  2018.  This pushback DOES NOT affect the PC release date, which remains June 5th, 2018. In addition, pre-orders are affected by this delay so console players will need to follow the console publisher Bigben’s announcements to stay up to date on this issue.  NeoCore games had the following to say regarding this console-only delay:

Despite the complexity of the project and the size of our studio, we really wanted to pull of a simultaneous multi-platform release, but for the best possible release quality, this hard decision had to be made. Console versions will now benefit from an extra month of attention.

While this delay may anger and frustrate some I have to say I’m impressed with the decision.  While inconvenient, yes, it demonstrates a desire to ensure that console players will experience the same level of fidelity and polish as PC players.  You can find out more about Inquisitor – Martyr on the game page of NeoCore’s webpage.
