Developer Owlcat Games (Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous) shared the second dev diary for the upcoming turn-based cRPG Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader.
The first entry allowed players to sneak a peek behind the scenes in the company of Olga Kellner, the lead narrative designer. In the video, the devs also showed off the portraits of some in-game companions and notable NPCs, such as your faithful Seneschal, a dangerous psyker, a zealous Battle Sister, an elusive Aeldari Ranger and even a ferocious Space Wolf.
The second dev diary invites players to meet the Rogue Traders – independent and free from most Imperial scrutiny, they command enormous trade empires and mighty armies and fleets. Learn what it takes to become a Rogue Trader over the 5 minutes-long video, with the developers promising travel, discovery, scheming and more. Of course, Rogue Trader is still a Warhammer 40k game so war will also be at your doorstep.
Players will explore the vast and dangerous Koronus Expanse with a crew of your loyal companions. There will be fateful decisions to make that affect the lives of entire worlds. Prove your strategic and tactical skills in high-impact turn-based battles against powerful opponents.
